A man whose job it is to inspect public benches gets several unexpected assignments that cause him to question his job.

Jamila is nine, Rachel eleven and Faseeha twelve when they take their first steps into a new hip-hop culture. The Berlin girls meet at a rap project, become friends and take off with their Sisterqueens crew. This documentary follows them over four years through their daily life with parents, siblings and their unusual chosen hip-hop family, where they learn a lot about hook lines and even more about self-respect.

In the 20th century, authorities in Switzerland placed over 100'000 children and adolescents in homes and foster families. The measures were implemented mainly for moral reasons and affected socially marginalized families in particular. The parents had hardly any success in legal proceedings against these decisions. Instead of fighting poverty, the state fought the poor. In the participatory ethnographic documentary "And then we were taken away", two men in their sixties talk about the administrative foster care they experienced as a child. They lead the audience to the homes, locations of their tumultuous youth and to their favourite places. Through their biographies, the men document how out-of-home placements shaped their childhood, youth and present.

The search for self-acceptance and self-love is an intimate process. It means entering into an inner dialogue with yourself. Andreas, Amelie and Patricia were forced into this inner dialogue through their bodies. Accepting yourself as you are is difficult because there are often still shadows from the past and uncertainties regarding the medical transition. But one thing is clear to everyone: She helps them to be able to live their dream as Andreas, Amelie and Patricia and they don't give that up.

Isabel's family has moved into a dilapidated house. Everything is falling apart, her parents can barely keep up with the renovations, and Isabel doesn't like it at all. If they had treasure, they could buy a nice house - and her father thinks treasures really exist. She promptly sets off secretly to find treasure for her family. On her search she meets all sorts of fairytale characters: a pirate, a wise seer and a witch. Can Isabel find the treasure with their help?

The short film comedy 'Step Out' is about the couple Thorsten and Monique, who have been leading a rather rusty marriage for over ten years. Both are ostensibly working office jobs. However, Thorsten recently quit and has built up a double life with aerobic livestreams. So far, Monique is unaware of this, but that will suddenly change one day.

Gor's escape takes 48 hours. The 13-year-old is behind the wheel himself to bring his large family to safety. In Armenia, Gor is therefore celebrated as a hero. In his new home he can now fulfill his big dream: becoming a hairdresser.

Once again, a few years have passed when old friends Patrick and Maltemeet again. Patrick shows up completely unexpectedly at Malte's mobile home, which is parked on a cliff on the Baltic Sea, in the middle of a deserted restricted area.
