Estrella Contreras, a single mother struggling to raise her daughter Azul, finds herself having to return to her hometown after the fateful death of her father Ulises, where she meets Fabián Bravo, a widowed father and fisherman by profession who is fighting to regain custody of his teenage daughter Yazmin.
